Just a quick note, since you haven't responded to the last letter yet...
I got an email from Mom today...
she said that she hasn't been ignoring me...just doesn't like soul-searching.
The message that she conveyed very clearly is that her young life was clouded by shame.
She does mention her father's being in a bar all the time...but not really any other reason for the shame.
Shame has an icredibly strong ability to control lives...
Amazing...
